Does anyone know the live bait situation in Newport Harbor? Do they have bait, and if so what is it? We are thinking of renting a skiff to fish the harbor.

was thinking the same thing fishmounter hahaha...possibly tuesday. I called 2 days ago, the barge is back and has anchovies only. Hope this helps, post up if you do go. Good luck out there mounter

I went out yesterday on the western pride but we didn’t stop for any bait. So I’m not sure if they had any or if the captain didn’t want get any since all we fished for were sculpin
