Sansou, here is the photo I promised you in the thread to be found at this link:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9469 (http://fishingnetwork.net/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9469)

I had plans to mount a videocamera on my speargun in order to capture the moment of impact while spearfishing.
That was before the digital revolution. Cams are much smaller now. Should be a piece of cake.
I think I'm gonna do it after all.
Does anybody doubt that I can accomplish what I'm thinking of doing?
Any other divers want to join me? I'll need to review your qualifications before we dive together.

See the juvenile spider crab on the starfish, next to the Spanish shawl Nudibranch?
Kinda reminds me of you, Rich. You know, sorta crabby. ...lol
BTW, No lifeforms were moved or injured in the making of this photo.
I wasn't even resting on the bottom.

Crabs- the gift that keeps on giving.

I just saw that they have told 250,000 people to evacuate surrounding areas of San Diego...Scary thought.

I didn't see that little crab until I developed the image. He was so tiny!!!!

Great idea! I don't see why you couldn't pull it off. It would be great footage!!! I wish I could join you but have never been certified to dive. Done a lot of free diving years ago and still do some on my surf trips. What kind of camera did you use for that photo? All you have to do is figure a mount system to reduce shake. Maybe a sponge and duct tape?? Get on it One-Leg!!!

Recoil would be a major consideration. Perhaps a helmet cam synched to a strobe.
