Had a pretty good day out on the lake with my boys at the derby. The bite was ok during the derby, we caught 4 catfish with two coming in at 3.15 pounds. Both my boys earned a trophy and a plaque as well and a rod each. They had an amazing time and we met some very helpful folks in the process. Overall a great derby and great memories with my kiddos once again.

Great pics,and a nice haul of kitties,I’ve been wondering when they were gonna start stocking the cats in the local lakes,after chasing bass around,it might be cool to kick it in a lawn chair and soak a bait for them,thanks!

I fished Sunday morning with 60 of my fellow fishermen. Not 1 catfish was caught by anybody that I could see. Their probably in night time mode already!!!

I was there Saturday afternoon just a few hits. Saw ppl in two spot killing the catfish but it reminded me of a head boat with ppl shoulder to shoulder trying to cast in the same spot. SMH

I learned to fish at that park as a kid. Man that was a while ago ..........

There was absolutely no space if you arrived past 8. I helped a few kids make their first catch by letting them cast at my spot. My brother helped some other kids as well.
