It was rough after 10 the wind came up quick and it wouldn't stop. The fish are deep right now surprised you didn't get one on the deep diver. As soon as these storms leave the area, the fishing should get pretty good, it is that time of the year. Appreciate the shout out, see you on the water.

Beautiful Bird. Nothing wrong with the bait and wait. Pretty upset about the dam closing always like sitting out there on summer nights waiting for the Bobber to fly.

I had a few hits on the deep driver that was it. No problem on the shoutout

I know the bait and wait game. But I was trying to cover ground to get my friend on a striper and fish were scattered

Did you guy's ever consider trolling the Umbrella rig??? A former member use to fill the bow of his boat, all the time with Stripers on that rig.

We try one with no luck. I think we need to find a better one to use.

One of the reason's why I brought it up, when those guy's were trying to keep that rig "Top Secret." I would really try to see what they were dragging. It was very similar to what you caught your Striper on. (just 5 of them with 3 hooks in them)

He also runs them off a down rigger at the right depth.:Fishing Hole:

Never had any luck with a rigs out there. Seen some solid fish caught on them but not my go to bait. Can’t wait to get a downrigger.

Don't mean to be not picking, but a comment made in the video was that you had gone to 18lb. Leadcore to get deeper, faster. Well, in truth the higher rating only applies to the pound-test rating of the line covering. So 10 lb leadcore sinks at the same rate as 20 lb test. "Heavier leadcore takes up more room on a smaller reel though.

I wanna say that the line is suppose to drop at about 5' per color based on a 2 mph boat speed, no matter what pound test it is.

Actually it took up less space then the 15lb leadcore line.
