Closest Freshwater Lakes (Recently Stocked as of 12/30/17) Near Los Angeles?

Hello Everyone:

Can anyone recommend a fishing lake near the city of Los Angeles that I can take my kid to tomorrow 12/31/2017. I am just looking for simple shoreline fishing with my kid. Neither of us are very proficent fishermen -).

I am willing to travel an hour or so outside of LA into Riverside, San Bernardino or northward into Ventura, if available.
