I haven't seen any recent posts about the fishing there. Has anyone been recently? What's the word?

Was just there on the 4-5th but the weather blew us out. Managed a couple stockers at Juniper as the red house was full both days with folks trying to catch the same fish. They were hittin on powrbait usual suspects short leader 20ft offshore. The water temp and D/O is the same across the lake so they can be ANYWHERE. Fish hit early and late, if the winds blowing I go to a friends house,lol. Good Luck and Tight Lines. Keep us posted please as I am going up next week to avoid the smogbreathers and would appreciate the news. No offense to them as I am one too now. The son and I ended up running down to Santa Ana to escape the wind were the the boy caught one on salmon egg. The river is TRASHED :mad: so if ya go please take some trash out with ya or this too will become just like the rest of Southern California, TRASHED!
We caught 3 the first day and two the second day at the lake 2ft leader maybe. :Secret:

How did it go for you up there? I'm headed up for the Thanksgiving holiday. Weather seems to be great and water temps should be prime in high 30's.
