9/27 - 9/28 and a heads up!

Skinner is still one perplexing lake. Went out Wednesday and got stripers galore. The inlet was devoid of fish so I went out searching for them. Finally found some and it was game on. By 11:00 or so I had 20 (all released ) so I decided to just leave them biting and come back Thursday. Today I fished my *** off until 1:30 and only got 6. I went through numerous schools and got maybe 1 bump if I was lucky. 24 hours makes a big difference at ol' Skinner. Beautiful day though.
OH! BTW Heads up! The lake will be closed to fishing Oct 4th thru 9th. The whole place is being rented to the 7th Day Adventists.

Different places. They're moving around. Holding off points would be my first suggestion.

Yup. I'll be cleaning the carpet on my boat and doing some long needed reel maintenance. And whatever my wife tells me to do.
