Need fishing guide for Silverwood....who's the 'best'? :)

Two quick questions:

1. Is fishing at Silverwood still good in October?

2. ANd if yes, can you guys recommend the best fishing guide for Silverwood? Presumably for stripers? If there are multiple guides and you don't want to offend anyone you don't recommend, you can PM (private message) a recommendation. :LOL:

Try Greg Silks. Knows that water as good or better than anyone.

Silks does know Silverwood. October usually is one of the best months but you just don't know when that bite will wind down and you have to go to a troll to target fish better, if talking about stripers of course. Some years topwater/boils can continue into early December but usually they die off in early November.
