Hey guys, any pne catching any stripers from shore on the dam? What bait is best from shore? Was planning on going fishing this weekend. Thanks!

Haven't fished Castaic for some time now, but when I did I would bring the following baits:
Fresh sardines
NightCrawlers
BloodWorms

From dam only gotten bites from striper on swimbaits, jerk baits with long pauses between too fast retrieves, or rapala shad raps.
I mainly fish black bass, though, so those were largely coincidental catches. Sorry.
