Gosa 6k sw, looking for rod options? - Surf casting

I will be using this for mostly surf casting but will also be pier fishing, charter fishing, etc.. just until I can replace my light tackle setup.

I'm considering the St Croix MSS90MMF2 Mojo Surf. or if possible, a 9 foot terez aqua rod but not sure if I could use one of these?

some lures, poppers, cut fish heads for leopard sharks, etc., I really don't want to go longer than 9 foot

Well, I went ahead and purchased the 10.5 ST. Croix, "mojo surf, MMF" rod. The 9 foot I wanted was a 2 piece setup which I really didn't want, so I figured, if I'm going to have 2 pieces, I might as well go up to 10.5 for distance. Either way, thanks for stopping by!
