Anyone know if Jackson Lake near Wrightwood has water in it now? Is it fishable?

Yes it has water, yes it can be fished, better question is it really worth it? Crowds are ridiculous with picnic people and swimmers as usual. Get there early b4 the party starts.

This is the first year that Jackson Lake has been full in about five. There is lots of reeds and seaweed to contend with and the crowds are pretty amazing anymore. Avoid any holiday or weekend. Pretty much fished out by the second day after stocking. This used to be a locals only and camps place but since the internet....well you know what happens when people post raves about a place.

Thanks for the input. A long way to go for nothing.

Per the DFW stocking schedule it hasn't been stocked for at least the last 3 months.
