Was camping with the family.. bla bla bla... Fished southwest shore near cleghorn, bass starting to bed but not defending very aggressively. A few tasters but no solid bites. Threw a 7" slim sluggo in purple/pearl out past the beds and stuck a nice 4lb girl.

After being frustrated by the green bass and finally getting one I decided to change targets and started tossing the trout glide bait. Not long after the wind picked up I see a big flash behind my bait.... keep reeling slow and feltcthe rod load up and start shaking:)

6 hours of fishing and 2 fish, but totally worth it.

congrats twin22s! camping with the family and fishing time...awesome! sounds like a great outing with some quality fish to show...would love to see the photos. Im assuming mr stripey hit that swimbait??

Thanks, and yeah stiper on the "original trout glider". Found them on facebook, haha.
And i got the pictures working....
