Perris 3/29/17

We saw fish caught, all in the weeds on the south side. Spoke to several other people, some said they did well, others thought it was a slow day. Wife and I lost two at the boat. Our first time on Perris in several years, so lots to learn about this water. There were quit a few boats for a Wednesday. Marina person said some crappy were caught at 10 and 11, and I would have tried that bite but we did not know where 10 and 11 are located.

I went on Thursday. Managed 5 fish all 2 to 3 lbs. Lost 2 more. Had a bunch of followers. All pre-spawn. Was suprised. Didn't see any bedding fish or old beds. I guess if they are spawning back in the bushes you would never see them. Water was around 67 to 68 deg F.
