10/19/07 City of Redondo 1/2 day PM

Hopped on the City of Redondo @ 1 PM today. When I got to the landing I noticed I forgot my backpack with all my tackle, License, Visor etc... Paid an extra $12 for the damn license.
15 people on board.

We headed off to Rocky point where Rockfish was the target and Rockfish was the catch.

About 90-150 feet we fished and caught 7 short lings. I caught a short by about 2 inches. Plenty of quality Red Snapper, Boc's, Chuckle heads, Barber Poles, Tree Fish, Johnny Bass, Blue Bass, Sculpin, Perch, Sheephead and then finally at the end of the day the mac attack.

We moved 3 times and each produced a different species.

Instead of the dropper loop today, the most productive rig up was a full squid on a lead head and just wait until you got hit.
Nobody got skunked today. I don't know anybody who's been skunked on a rockfish trip before.

ANYWAYS, I STARTED GETTING BORED AFTER THE END OF THE SECOND STOP SO I STARTED TAKING PICS AND I JUST HAD TO TAKE NUMEROUS PICS OF MY SUPERSEEKER... ENJOY THE PICS OF MY DYNO-MIGHT STICK.

And secondly, the picture of my superseeker was actually my dry attemp at a sexual innuendo. It may seem like i was taking pictures of my superseeker but I was really interested in the white chicks as$.

But to answer your question, I have seen nice Fuji guides on custom superseeker rods (Ed Tschurnocia @ Baja fish gear) but the factory made ones are Titan guides like mine.

I outghta patent a digicam that mounts on your rod so you can snap pics while you are reeling in the fish. And when you've landed the dang thing, you can snap a shot of yourself holding it up. With a wide angle lens so Kevin can fit all the fish porn/poon in the shot.

Any one wanna spot me some seed money to get the ball a rolling? Half a mill oughta cover the startup and R&D.
