June is open down to the big lodge ... about halfway. Shouldn't be a problem ... and usually the boat stands breakup the ice if it's necessary

The road from Grant to just past Silver is still shut ... I wonder why? Landslides by Rush Creek?

Could be wrong but always thought they close that stretch for the winter due to avalanche problems especially in heavy snow years

As an FYI, Silver Lake Resort staff stated a week ago the ice was thinning and as long as the weather cooperates the lake should be ready for opener.
