1-26-17 Shore Fishing

The water level appears to be nearly normal after recent storms.
Last year when I kayaked here, I had to drag the yak across extended mud to get to the water.
Checked in with the marina bait shop. Supposedly planted on 1-19. Got some crawlers and headed for the Cleghorn north shore.
Fished for about an hour and a half for nothing. Not even a nibble. Saw about 6-7 other people fishing with nothing coming out. The wind was chilly and starting to pick up so called it quits. Nice day though.

Yes they stocked week before last but then the water came rushing in to Cleghorn and seemingly sent the trout packing, b4 the rains there were little trout everywhere, I mean very small average size trout.
