It was a nice day, not too windy, just a bit cold.
You can still see some snow around the lake is places.
The fishing? Not so great. I did not find any trout. I managed one striper on the troll.
Most of the fish i metered are 25-50 ft deep.
I saw two guys pulling flys, they picked up three stripers.
There was guy in a red boat the had at least one.
There was no water coming in the spillway, but it was wet.

Karlow, thanks for the update I really need to get back out there my boat is leaking water in from some where I cannot figure out. bilge fills up with water. going to try and take

out and run with cover open from the time I launch and figure out where water is coming in. Plus will have a pole or two with me also. Thanks again for the update I know folks are fishing there just not reporting...

Thanks for the report, they're few and far between lately. I haven't been since April, but know that it can be a bit slow at the Wood at this time of year. I've never caught a trout here, but the stripers usually bite for me every time.
