Went to Dixon as usual on thanksgiving morning. Caught 4 outside whisker bay 2 on bait 2 on plastics. Bass crashing on shad eveeywhwre you could see. Not a bad way to spend a few hours in the mornkng

know if the world record large mouth bass story is a hoax
or is there some truth too it?

Real deal, here's some interesting facts about her. She was caught twice at World Record size. The 2nd time she was foul hooked (aka snagged off a bed so that wouldn't count) The first time she was caught at World Record weight she was properly documented. So they can still claim the record if they want too!!! The reason why they didn't claim her the first time, she spilled a lot of her eggs (causing her to lose weight) while they were waiting for the DFG to show up for a second weighing. But her first weight still counts!!!!!! (no time limit on submitting the paper work) They won't because they can't really cash in on her and that was their real plan all along!!!
