I went to lake Perris yesterday looking for bluegill. Bite was slow but I did catch 4 in about 3 hrs. Enough to feed my wife and I two meals. I fished in the cove where the boat launch is. On the west side from the shore. Tried meal worm, both on a bobber and on the bottom. Not even a nibble. All four were caught on half night crawlers on the bottom. Lots of weeds but they seemed to break off fairly easy. Fish were about 1/2-3/4 lbs ea. There were a few people fishing for bass but I saw no action. Goin back next week. Can some one tell me why I can't use the emoticons?

You need a boat to get there.

It's been awhile since I've hit Perris. How's the vegetation right now? Pretty thick still?

I got it Jeff. Thanks for the info. I sent a return PM but I don't think I did it right. I'll make use of your info next time I'm out there.
