WHERE IVE BEEN FISHING AT, THERES SO MUCH BAITFISH ,I KNOW I CAN JUST NET THEM WITH A REG NET.MY QUESTION IS IS THERE A LENGTH LIMIT ON A NET HANDLE, AND A SIZE ? WONT WANT TO GET A FINE. THANKS MIKE THE PMB...

I'm pretty sure there's no regulation for the length of the handle but for the net itself I believe is no greater than 36" on the widest part of the net.

IIRC, the only baitfish nets that are illegal in socal are cast nets.
I don't think landing nets are illegal but it would be pretty dang difficult getting bait with one of those.
You can try using an umbrella net (about $10-15) no larger than 36".
