8/18 Hot stuff

Started shortly after 6:00. In the open water outside the marina there was some surface action going on. Man, got me all excited. Turned out to be a bunch of baby stripers. Nothing more than 8 inches. Long story short..... lake is full and I got the skunk. As for LMB I talked to Elbowlayer and Fordman. Both had caught fish. I know Fordman was fishing a little deeper today and he hit a 3+ and a couple 2+ fish. I was disappointed after reading both the WON and Press Enterprise, both of which said the striper bite was on. Nope.

I been slaying them on boils and blindcasting walk the dog baits in bone white color in between those smaller stripe bass are some big fish i camp there and saw alot of 5pluslb stripers boil on silversides right outside the marina but of course it was during closing it can only get better
