Guide trip thurs dave wrecks mr stripeys honeymoon

........dave set up a day at castaic for some fishing fun ,we got some of it. we did the boil whore thing for a couple hours ,running and gunning on some popping no real boiling .dave picked up some on the topwater ,when it slowed we started some trolling and started filling the deadwell. in the middle of the day the open water at c-point started having big schools come up to the surface and start doing the dolphining thing , they were spawning . the funny thing was the boil whores in the rentals and bass boats chased them around for a couple hours ,me and dave did then we tired of the knuckleheads and moved away from them. after a while later after chasing several schools dave got a hookup on a nice fish. as soon as he tossed into the deadwell he blow a major load of spooge all over the place , mr stripeys honeymoon was over he thought he was getting some tail but dave gave him a sharp *** kpn hook. we finished the day trolling to hit our limits and headed on back to the dock............thank you dave for going out , i wasnt really trying to toss you out of the boat all the wakes and crazyness of trying to get to the fish makes for a bumpy wild ride..............T/O....................

Thank you again for a fun day Bob! It was good to see Castaic with water in it again, and kinda interesting to see how the dynamics have changed. Those breeding stripers were really strange to watch, but very frustrating to try to catch, a few times we could have reached out and touched them as they went by, completely oblivious to our lure offerings. It gets more and more difficult to come back from the Caribbean each year, but days on the water fishing together with you makes it much easier to handle.....thanks again..................Dave
