Me and 2 buds decided to get out there after taking a 2 month break from fresh water fishing. Been enjoying my CC way to much lately. Been fishing PV, LB, and
took my first Catalina trip last Sat. Anyways
It was a nice start with good weather, little overcast and lights winds. We hit up 3 shallow areas first for no bites :Shocked: Then
went deep for a couple 1-2's range bass and stayed deep for about 3 more hours for a good 12 bass total in 2 areas, same size range. By 10am he headed back to a few shallow
spots for a 6 more small ones and this beauty. I took a few good shots (didn't weight her since she was all spawned out, no point) and released her. It had the figure
to easily be a 11-12lb'er, blind out of one eye! The boat traffic was growing and getting pretty bad with skiers 10 ft from my boat busting donuts ect, so we headed out by noon.
Water temp 80-84 though out the day
Water clarity: murky shallow, 20ft plus maybe 3-4ft visibility
Lights winds
