Just thinking back 3 decades or so but I remember watching large barges park in SMO bay north of the pier and having a huge bulldozer dump large rocks overboard. Seems they moved around every few days to another area to dump rocks.
Are these areas fished today?
I've never looked for them and I don't live anywhere near there now but just wondering.
