Had a short day of work today, so decided to check on the spot. Arrived at 3 pm to wonderful conditions, clean clear water, and small, 2 foot waves. Started my walk, and got a tug about 15 minutes in, a wee one about 12 inches. Sorry, no pics. Continued down to where i knew there would be fish holding, and caught another small butt. My spot didn't initially produce, so kept working down the beach. I'm working my LC, and I lift the lure out of the water, only to see this massive butt turn around, and high tail it out to deeper water. I was the only one on the beach, so decided he was going to join me for dinner, and stashed him up the beach. A very nice fish, that measured 31 inches.
I kept working the area for another short, and decided to go back to my boilers, made 2 casts, and bam, another lunker! Made short work of this one, and it's a

lol, and was actually puffing a bit by the time I got back to my truck. A glorious day by any surf fishing standards, and very jazzed to have
