Nephew Ryan and I decided to brave the wind predictions and try for some fish taco meat. We go to the lake early and they were predicting 40 mph winds by 1!!! something I didn't wanna hear but we headed out any way. It was windy all day but nothing to crazy, it might of been bad for like an hour maybe around 3. I caught a few LM bass all on the windy side of the main lake points, lots of fish stacked up there but nothing really wanted to bite. Again, it's hard to bass fish without a trolling motor especially in the wind lol!!! We trolled most of the day for stripers and we couldn't get them to bite our umbrella rigs. We tried to drop some jigs down on the bigger schools but nothing. We had a great day again and had a ton of fun. At least I caught some fish hahaha. Around 5:30 Ryan was digging in his bag looking for something to eat and he found a banana. ughhhhh banana on the boat no wonder he didn't catch anything lol!!! Until next time! God bless.
