I was just wondering how do storms affect fishing. Is it better to go fishing right before a storm or during a storm or right after a storm?

A falling barometer is always your friend. I will be at Perris on Thursday, falling barometer and before a projected storm. Oh and the astro table (lunar & tidal) rates Thursday as best day during the month of April. While I am not a mystic or superstitious I may burn a candle and sacrafice a chicken Wednesday night to prevent the skunk...:Envious:

So it sounds like right before and during the storm are good as long as it is safe. I can only make it out this Friday so hopefully the fishing is good.

Accuweather shows rain around 4:00pm on Friday you should be good to go and light winds only 5-7mph gusts to 9mph on Friday.

Agreed^ I've fished city park lakes right before a big storm and absolutely crushed it. Bite shut off afterwards.
