Are there any trout in Skinner going there end of the month

Well, the number and size of the trout that were planted this year make it a non-issue. Within 24 hours of a plant the largemouth and stripers had most of them eaten up. And No tubes on the lake.

Thanks paw any help on how to catch stripers with lures jigs trollering r throwing me and my son will enjoy, we will be renting a boat at the end of the month.

Don't count out trout at skinner. In the past we have caught holdovers at the buoy line SW dam area on crawlers-about 73 ft mark. Whole crawlers wacky style. Good luck.

Yep. Read back a few years ago before the trout ban, people were catching them in the tules on senkos. In June/July. Goes against all traditional trout fishing techniques, but stranger tales have been told. They used to stock nice 2-3 lbers (the county used the "fishing fee" collected at the gate to buy Mt. Lassens, there were no DFG plants at the time) but I totally believe Pat when he says they're all candy bars for the big mouths nowadays.

Ha, just a couple years ago I was catching nice fat trout in the inlet whitewater on 110 jerkbaits along with stripers. This year they were all 1/2 pounders. I wonder why they even bothered.
