My thoughts, if Berkley thought they had a winner they wouldn't sell it exclusively to Cabela's. I would put it in the same category as a store brand.
This bait was made as a cheaper version of the small X-rap for small mouth fishing in the north, so if that is what your looking for i say go for it, you can always change the hooks out, add a feather to the tail... but at that point just buy an X-rap IMO. If your fishing around cover and don't want to get pissed when you snag it i could see buying a bunch of them. Remember you get what you pay for with most things. Its not going to be as good as a LC or other high end jerkbait but it will catch fish in the right conditions.
