Been paying my dues figuring out the bite in my old stomping grounds as a boy. Found the pattern tonight and slayed the hawgs on a new jerkbait that I intended on using for halibut in the surf. They hit very lightly, just dead weight. Lost like 4 trying to figure out the new rod.
