FYI.......they finally stocked trout at Apollo Park in Lancaster a week ago and we're killing them !
They stocked one lake but they have traveled to another, so the trout are only in the front two lakes since they have passages closed to the back lake.
Any PB will work, not much action on lures, and only a couple caught on a fly.
My biggest so far was a 3.6 lb. rainbow, with plenty of 2 lbers. Hard hitting and hard fighting fish will definitely test your drag and line.
They said these fish are the same as what they plant at Santa Ana and other "Pay to fish" places, pink meat too.
Sheriffs and park rangers are enforcing DFG and Park rules for fishing SO BEWARE....AND NO RELEASING FISH ! Everything caught leaves the lake !
So have some fun and feed your family !
