Haven't been to SARL in decades...
Drove in late after work from Coachella Valley. Started fishing around 10ish in the evening. Didn't really go after them too hard as we were pretty much posted up at our camp until noon Sat.
Only one 2# model bow between the couple of us actually fishing. Our group was hanging out at the little lake.
Saw 2-3 others with a fish or two and talked to several dudes who said the same. Weather was nice, water was murky brown, unable to spot any fish.
Had a nice time for sure. I was surprised fishing wasn't on fire with all the hype surrounding recent stocks etc. We'll give it another go next year perhaps.
