Fished Lake Hodges yesterday with my buddy Keepemlow and caught a mixed bag of fish. Fish were caught near the marina in about 15-20 feet of water. We were using crappie gigs and shinners. The bite should get even better over the next few weeks.

Thanks for the report. Never been there but thinking about it. I see there is something about fishing consessions only on open on Weds, Sat and Sun. Are those the only fishing days? I usually go fishing on Fridays.

Your correct on the fishing days. It sucks not being able to fish it every day of the week. They also shut the lake down from about October to about February of each year. Thus the lake gets limited fishing pressure. You can also find 2 other lakes within a 15 minute dive from Hodges (Wohlford and Dixon). I don't do much bass fishing but Hodges is loaded with tullies, brush piles and rocky structure. Good luck!
