I just met a person who fishes Prado. He just told me that 2 thousand pounds of trout was just planted. Can someone verify?

They double stocked because they drained the lake for maintenance a few weeks back.

Does anyone know if they planted bass back into the lake?

They said at some point in the next few months they are planning on stocking bass.

I wouldn't get too excited about a bass stock, usually when stocking bass its fingerlings. be about a year or 2 before anything decent comes of that.

If anyone knows different let me know.

I'm getting conflicting reports!!!! Did they drain the whole thing and lost all the Bass etc??? Or did they partially drain it and the fish are all safe and sound in their home??? Someone who really knows please chime in!!!

Tuck, i live in chino and drove by. When I saw it there was still some water. Enough to hold fish but not all the fish. I saw a picture in won today of a guy with a decent bass from there. I don't know how long ago it was but it made it sound like it was after the big stock they got when they filled the lake back up.

That's my old stomping grounds. I'm hoping that the draining made the lake a little cleaner. The past few years it has been less than 1 foot visibility. It used to be pretty darn clear for a city park lake. And the bass fishing hasn't been as good as it used to be.

Met a guy who fish Prado last Monday. Showed me a pic of a 3lb bass he caught that day, so it's safe to say they saved at least some of the fish.
