Prairie Creek in Redwoods near Orick

Hello all, I am planning in staying in the Orick area of the Redwoods in early July. Can anyone give me recommendations or advise if I will be able to take Trout from Prairie Creek. If so, what kind of bait and tackle work best in that area. The only trout fishing I'm familiar with is in the Sierra's.
