Fairmount Park?

Hello everyone. I'm thinking about heading to Fairmount Park this weekend. Anyone been there lately?

I've put in about 15 hours on that lake this winter with not one bite. But man it sure looks like it should be a gold mine.

Maybe when it warms up a little.

I fish there quite often, but since our last hard rain we had here, the lake got really muddy. You can catch fish, but with the cold muddy water, fishing is slow. If we get a week of warmer weather, that would get the bass moving around and feeding more.

Yeah I was thinking of fishing for bass or crappie. Any tips with this lake? This would be my second time there and all I've heard are bad reports with this place and a few rare success stories.

Also don't feel bad, the last 20 hours of fishing I've put in resulted with no bites as well.
