Why not allow people to use the discounts for the holidays on gift cards ?
It's the same as giving the discount now except the person receiving the gift card or cards will have a tad longer to utilize it.
Might help increase your sales along with additional exposure to your store ?
Just my 2 cents .

Set prices by the manufacturers listed prolly prevent Last Chance from giving the discount on gift cards. Sucks, we know, but go talk to Shimano, Daiwa, etc when it comes to that policy.
If Last Chance doesn't follow the rules, then you wont' see Shimanos stocked in their shop from now on.
