Tonight President Obama will deliver his final State of the Union address, which the White House says will refrain from the usual "laundry list" of new proposals. That's probably a smart strategy, based on how successfully he's delivered on past State of the Union promises.
Looking back, the numbers aren't pretty. From 2009 through 2015, Grabien counts 140 promises that remain unfulfilled.
We should note that many of these promises are duplicated from one year to another. For example, almost every year he has pledged to pass comprehensive immigration reform, overhaul corporate taxes, reduce regulations, and close Guantanamo Bay.

Is his list of unfulfilled promises any different from EVERY OTHER President we ever had??? I'll answer that, "NO!!!!!!!" Look it is the choice in politics of choosing the lessor of 2 evils. I'm hoping in California for a moderate type Republican to run for the Governorship, because I think Gavin Newsome is way too Liberal!!!! You may not like some of Governor Browns Ideas or policy's but when he leaves office, California will be in much BETTER financial shape then when he came in. Let's get back to the Presidency, once again it's the choice of the lessor of 2 evils. Did you stay to hear what the Rebut was from the Republicans and their hope for the future. I'll go over it and what it's meanings were IF it was ever put into practice.

There is an original thought!!!!! First of all we all know the stats, 47% of people don't pay tax's. (this does nothing for them) The 1% own so much a the country's wealth (26% and counting) raising their tax's would be a huge boost to debt reduction. Instead the Republicans want to LOWER their tax's!!!!!! What a donkey play!!!!!!
2. Reduce the Federal Deficit.
I'm with Dockrat on that one, but how????? Just like your budget at home, I would raise the revenue and cut some spending. The Republicans answer is to CUT the revenue and the spending except for Defense. Think about this for a minute. WTF the deficit is already huge and you want to cut the Revenue!!!! (have they been drinking????) That would make the deficit even worse unless they GUT everything else except the Military. Now what kind of country would we be living in if they did that. A real SHITE hole that's what!!!! That's what the Republicans are proposing.
3. Keep the Military Budget high.
To me that's where we could make some cuts. Do you people really want us to stay in the Middle East any longer. Let everybody else have a crack at it like their doing in Syria now.
In conclusion, the Republicans aren't offering Jack as an alternative. Go ahead and vote in a disaster I dare you!!!!!!

So am I!!!!! Someone needs to talk about these misguided Republicans who are really trying to F up the country and their own constituencies. So what should Obama have done to help his Black constituency? First declare an economic emergency in the socio/economic communities affected. Offer block grants to businesses to open or relocate/move operations into the affected areas. Low interest loans for purchase of buildings, capital equipment and leasehold improvements. Accelerated depreciation of capital assets and improvements. Reduced or deferred taxes on income and property improvements. Temporary wage support and assistance for hiring the long term unemployed. This would have been better money spent with greater good and economic benefit that the $800+ billion stimulus spent on the not so ready "shovel ready jobs".

Let me chime in on this one. If you watched the State of the Union address, did you notice the body language of House speaker Ryan????? Yes he is the leader of the other party in the House, but he is still an American and Obama is the President. He wouldn't even clap when Obama ( he just scowled) was saying America is the GREATEST nation on Earth. Or we need to find a cure for "CANCER!!!!!" When little Bush was President, Nancy Pelosi applauded 33 times in Bush's last State of the Union. So what is it then, if it's not his race??????? It can't just be political beliefs!!!!
