Crawdads ?

So all lakes do not allow crawfish as bait anymore ? Used to be the go to winter pre spawn bait .
Anything new on why and does anyone still trap and use ?

They allow crawfish at most lakes. Some they have to be bought from the lake or trapped at the lake your fishing.
