Been a while since I've glanced at the FNN boards. Been a little pre-occupied with the Saltwater season.

Cruised down memory lane and had a chance to take a gander at the ramp. Well, the ramp is finished and the waiting game begins. It's a great sight to see if you haven't bombed out to the lake. Lots of prime stuff exposed and some good memories up the bank. I'm ready to destroy it. Might shore pound tomorrow!

I was out there today. Yep all done. Presumably if it dumped rain tomorrow they would be open for launch.

thats great news thanks Matt... Hey question.. How far is the water down from when they closed in April? It doesn't looked like too much judging by the islands on the point... ???

How long is the new ramp they put in?? Also by the looks of it, it wont take long to get the water above ramp level ....

The ramp looks close to 50-60' or so from the end of ramp in April.

I believe they extension is roughly 50'. I could be completely wrong but that number has stuck in my head through numerous conversations at the shop. The rip rap below the extension stopper looks 3-5' from the waters edge and built up a couple feet.

Definitely close dude. We just need water to be brought from up north, but in reality, it's probably going to take a while. I'm cool with it though. The ramp is done and half the battle is over!

It's a 50' extension. The lake elevation is currently 1644-1645' which is 111-112' below full pool. The old ramp length became unusable in April at 1663'. It's going to take quite a while for the lakes up north to fill up (if it does rain or snow) before there is sufficient water to put in the lake.

thanks Kwin..... And yes the Sculpin is a main source of forage this time of year... hence the Carolina rig being so popular at DVL this time of year.
