That's cool but this is my first gun so I definetly have no idea on how to load a bullet or have any equipment to do so.

Unless your buying in large quantities it is better to buy local as the shipping on ammo will eat up any savings on the price, ammo is heavy.

What they said....box of ammo might cost $10 but shipping will be $25+ because it has to come FedEx.

This site is rad. Price per round and its location for everything your itchy trigger finger needs.

Thank me later!

Also, try Ammo Bros. They are just off the 605 and will sell you their own reloads cheap.

Last, if you know someone in the military, give them a list for Camp Pendleton or other base. Good selection, OK prices and no tax.

For just a little occasional shooting with the 9mm Big five has sales sometimes at a pretty good price for 50 rounds, Bass Pro Shop can be good too.

One of the best deals out there is Perfecta at Wally World, especially when it goes on sale. I have shot with .45, 9mm, and .223 with zero problems. Plus its brass. Better pricing on aluminum or steel ammo, but I won't put it through my weapons.

Oh yeah, make sure you take advantage of the Springfield "Gear up & Go". Purchase a Springfield, and get two mags, mag pouch, and range bag for free, now through December!

I buy my ammo at wally world. I buy the federal aluminum case ammo at like $10 a box of 50 rounds. I have a glock 17 9mm and I have not had a problem with the aluminum stuff. I also purchased some perfecta but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Cant beat it for $11 a box of 50 rounds. Im sure it will work fine since there brass cases. The 100 round Winchester boxes are only like $27.

Wait for the gun show or as my cousin and I call it the Knife show, they usually hold them in costa mesa at the OC fairgrounds, Ontario. But be sure to be there on the first day of the "show" as a lot of the ammo gets bought up!

Yeah the good ole gun shows sure were good backin the day. The one I liked best was at the Fairplex in Pomona in the late 80's and 90's they sure had some good stuff then and real cheap ammo too. Its all gone now and don't even bother todays gun shows any more in California Boring.
