My dad and I go deep sea fishing every year. I grew u in SoCal but moved to Utah. My dad still loves in San Bernardino. I recently purchased a seaswirl 22ft striper in Utah that I wanted to bring down and take out for some kelp paddy yellowtail and dodo action. But getting 7-8 mpg the whole drive down doesn't make any sense. We are planning to take one of the open party boats out instead. But if anyone with a private boat was looking for two guys to go out next Friday and split gas/costs, we have our own equipment and can handle our own. Just a thought.
