today I did a trip with nat and jess , my friend clint at offshore anglers in Lancaster refered me to them ,jess was a striper virgin and nat had not fished boiling stripers before. the fishing was slow on the boiling fish great on small ones on the troll.the boat traffic between the lake lice and all the bass guys trying to fish stripers it was a hard day on the water . but early afternoon one of the trolling rods got buried ,I cleared the other rod and jess started her fight and I talked her thru it ,she listened and fought the fish perfect ,it hit the deck and we had a little party.....thank you nat for using my guides service......

D/S ive fished there since they opened the lake up , the big fish primary feeding time is at night and when the boats are gone ,there thousands of those fish they lie low during the daylight hours ,once in a while somebody gets a lure near one of the ones that's too hungry to wait for the dark and they get caught,,,,,that happens at most all of the striper lakes in so cal..........

that's ok dave ,the channel spots are packed with shad waiting for my rigs to come by and kill another pig..........but those spots don't hold fish..................
