Cast Nets?

Just wondering on whether or not cast nets are legal. I've been told that they are legal in Saltwater but not in Fresh water, but I have also been told that they are only legal in saltwater North of Point Conception. I've been trying to get into the DFG website but my computer is having trouble reading the PDF file for the Saltwater regs :bang: . Any help would be nice if you have any knowledge about cast nets. Thanks.

i believe you got it right...there legal north of point conception.....but down south here there not legal :wink:

Ditto on the castnet. Only allowed N of Pt. Concept. However you could use an umbrella net....
