Has anyone been out to JEnKs lake lately? Says there stocking soon but also is there any large mouths spotted close to shore? Thanks

Better check with the San Bernardino National Forest....much of that area is now closed because the Lake Fire (which was started very near to Jenks Lake)
"Jenks Lake Rd, Jenks Lake Day Use Site, Barton Flats Visitor Center, remaining Forest Service Campgrounds, & remaining Forest Service roads that were closed earlier due to the fire will be re-opening by July 11."
Not sure if they have opened the area in spite of the prediction.

Was there Saturday 7/25. Didn't see anyone catch anything of note. Some really small bass and bream is all. It's open though.
