How deep do I need to go to catch rockfish?

Does anyone know how far or deep do I need to go out in order to catch scuplin or Rockfish?

Not an expert but I say all the way to the bottom

I've caught sculpin in 30ft of water. But I normally target rockfish in 110-200ft.
