Yes and just a heads up to anyone wondering the same question, all the oc commercial halibut fisherman get the majority of their fish inside the wall

Calico taste better to me than sandies. Sand bass have more of a "fishy" taste and calico have a hint of shellfish in them, especially ones caught off the wall or similar areas as they have more shellfish in their diet than the ones in more open water.
