I need to build a new chatterbait rod and go back to Hagg and find whatever those toad fish where that shook me off at the bank twice and broke my reel seat off my rod lol. It was 80* up here the other day! felt like heaven! Gonna be a nice summer in Portlandia!

Got free range at the new job. Started working there building the electronics and ended up redesign the electronic system in their lightsabers. Now I'm a Jedi Electronic Engineer, getting my own building soon and leading the electronics and R&D department! Couldn't ask for more. Very happy.

Just need some feesh at the end of a line. Any line. Preferably sooooon. No time anymore. Having so much fun with work I catch myself doing it at home. Next time I'm on a PC I'll upload pics on the light sabers we make. They're very cool!! Lucked out big time.

ps yep yep I licensed to ride M class in Oregon until 2021 or further notice!

Yes I need another drz
and your number for when I ride the 'Busa down later this year. Coming down next month for a burning man type festival. Prolly be down again in summer for another shot at Mt Whitney... Lol

ps you guys can always come visit. I have a bed I don't use at my house. My Gf and I got a Tempurpedic at hers ;)

havent found a fishing buddy quite like skyler around since... Well.... Skyler! Great to see ya on two wheels, mang.

havent found any of the hidden (legal) backwoods spots around here yet either and need to get on the bike and go do so.

and it looks like they turned that Honda into a street fighting cafe racer. For the better..
it has headers, race rotors, rear sets, gearing, levers and all kinds of other upgrades I can see from here.
Never was a Honda fan.
I went
gsxr 600 '99 SRAD
Yamaha r6 2000
SMG 110 2002 (tel:110 2002)
GSXR 600 2003 (tel:600 2003) blue and white FI with a choke!?
Kawasaki ninja 250r 2010
GSXR alstair 600 2003 (tel:600 2003) Fi with a choke too!
gsxr 750 2011 (tel:750 2011)
drz 400 2003 (tel:400 2003)
gsxr 600 2002 (tel:600 2002)
Gsxr1000 2005
buell xb12R firebolt 2007
and now the GSXR 1300R Hayabusa.

The busa is nimble. A lot like my 2005 gsxr 1000... Surprisingly agile But 100lbs heavier and 40moh faster. More comfy riding position for my taller frame and power to spare. 4x the legal power limit in Portland to be exact lol

hey I got an idea... Let's go ride a brand new Hayabusa around in the pouring rain! ;) it's only the worlds fastest production street bike. What could go wrong?

I'd love to come up, unfortunately, not much room for vacation with the director's position. Especially with us currently constructing a new facility. I'll make my way up there sooner or later though. My number is the same. Hit me up when you come down here.

Portland has a HP limit? Ha ha ha. What a nanny state. I tell you, it's only a matter of time before pissing standing up is illegal on the whole west coast, lol.

Anyways, check out my YouTube channel "Dangerish" if you need a trail riding fix. Have fun.

What did they do to that poor honda?

LOL.

It's a 2009 CBR 1000RR, 999cc inline-four putting out 160 horsepower and ABS.

Strip off all the plastic, and design a new tail section and seat assembly in CAD. A pair of machined aluminum brackets mount to the subframe, which is capped off with a plastic fairing sandwiching a thin line of LEDs for the taillights and turn signals. Designed around a seat pulled from a Ducati Panigale to create the minimalist look and short overhang.

Up front, the kit ditches the stock headlamp, speedo, and fork mounts in favor of more machined aluminum pieces. The stock instrument cluster slots into the new mounting and sits just slightly upright. Ahead of that is a mount for the quartet of vertically stacked LED headlights, with a tinted cover, and a machined ABS fairing covering it all.

Here's another one:

How come you passed on a Gsxr 1000?

I've had enough "Race Bikes" in my day. Liked the more comfortable positioning of the 'Busa, and she still handles like a 600. Surprisingly, I find she dives in pretty hard on most corners. I'd love to see how she does up on Glendora Mountain Road down in Socal. I told an old riding buddy down at the foot of GMR to be ready for a surprise drive by this summer. The Busa has spririt for the twisties, for sure. You'd never guess, looking at the huge fairing, which was purpose designed for aerodynamics.

I actually went in there to buy a GSXR 1000. They had a 2014 Black 1000 that I applied for originally. Then I saw the 2012 Busa sitting there at $3000 off because nobody wanted to buy it and give it a home.

After I bought it, I found out why. The insurance payment is the same as the payment for the motorcycle. LMFAO!

Skyler:
No HP limit in Portland.. just meant that the speed limit max up here is 55mph when the bike can do 186 regulated 220 unregulated.. almost four times the legal speed limit.
Apologize for my wording. I kinda like Portland. I have my Concealed Carry, can buy guns in one day, can ski, bike, board and paddle all within 1.5hr radius, we have four seasons and the rain is nice. Not to mention I get 30 rounders on all my guns and there is plenty of work to support my crazy hobbies.

Got some trail videos up on my youtube from back when I had the DRZ and the gopro. Had to sell the gopro when I was sleeping in the truck for a bit there. Need to get a new one. lol
Still have all the mounts on my helmets (dirt and street).

Switched phones several times by now, lost your number! Just got the iphone 6 a couple weeks ago and finally get to stop using google voice over my ipad for calling.

Just quit smoking cigarettes two weeks ago. Have 16 days under the belt cig free again. Hate those things.

Now if I could just find a cure for my insomnia. Herbs an melatonin don't work currently =/

Have a good weekend ya'lls. Moving out of my studio and in with the GF this weekend. Prolly gonna be hectic. Can't wait till next time I get to fish!

I thought a busa was primarily a straight line bike. Got a buddy that lives up Silverado Cyn. (Twistys) with one and that is his opinion. It's an older one so maybe they were only straight line beasts then.

Every one I see here in the OC has a flat patch on the rear tire instead of a nice rounded edge.
