Daiwa Saltist Black Gold 40H?

For the $ the saltist BG40H seems like a good buy. I plan on doing 3/4 day trips in San Diego for yellowtail. What do you all think? I was thinking with 8ft rod, 50#braided/30 Pliny Floro
