Headed up the 395 for some fishing and exploring. Exploring went well, fishing really slow.

Fished on Tuesday and Wednesday, only got one small brown each day. Talked to some others who had drifted two days in a row and only got 4 fish for 4 guys. Flows were up and my fish were caught on drifted BH Prince nymphs. Spoke with a guide and his gf, and they were lacking fish as well.

Hiked up Chalk Bluffs on Thursday, to visit another petroglyph site. One hell of a climb, and lots of fun bouldering around the area for sure.

Here's the rock I was seeking:

Unfortunately, the glyphs were much degraded, more than I expected:

Got some real cold weather and wind on Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday PM was too windy for fishing, so we packed up early Friday and came home.

Fishing, and especially catching, can vary a lot, but exploring is almost always good...thanks for the great report!
